Description

Becoming an independent auto dealer in Washington State begins with this instructor-led, 8-hour, course required under RCW 46.70.079 as part of the application process. 

The course materials provided during this course will educate, inform, and assist potential dealership applicants of important and detailed information for establishing the dealership and operating on a daily basis effectively. 

At the end of the class, attendees will receive a certificate which is a required step toward having a dealership endorsement issued to their business.

Course Study Includes:

  • The creation of the required Business license, endorsement application, and renewal processes.
  • Washington State Rules and Regulations on maintaining and sale of used inventory.
  • Federal Regulations and guidelines
  • Consumer Protection Requirements
  • Industry forms and purposes 
  • Mentorship option for application review
